Carolyne is a legal practitioner with 17+ years’ experience in banking and finance, with long serving experience in the financial services sector, as a senior lawyer at two large banks.
She was involved in the end-to-end processing, enforcement, and custody of securities during the financing process. Typical assets provided to the banks for financing included: land, shares, bank accounts, intellectual property, and insurance proceeds.
Major career highlights include advising on policy and regulation relating to receivership, secondary public offers and rights issues as well as a signature M & A transaction that saw her successfully onboard Amethis as strategic investors.
Carol holds an LLB from the University of Nairobi and an MBA from the United States International University, giving her a strong blend of legal and commercial expertise.
