Miriam Ouma is a Partner at Adroit Law LLP and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She advises companies, investors and private clients across corporate and commercial transactions,real estate, and dispute resolution, with a growing practice in data protection and the law of the digital economy.
In her contentious practice she acts in commercial and civil disputes before the courts and in arbitration, including shareholder and contractdisputes,injunctions, debt recovery and enforcement, and matters touching reputation and defamation. Clients rely on her to read the risk early, settle on a strategy and pursue the outcome that serves them, whether a negotiated settlement or a case seen through to judgment.
Miriam holds LLB, Moi University and Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. She has completed the  Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme. She is also a member of the Law  Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society.
